In recent years the member companies of the Association TEGEWA have faced a growing number of claims relating to different types of certification systems. Private test-seals or national environmental logos as well as the current "Product Carbon Footprint" (PCF) are all issues that the management needs to deal with in detail.

The association is developing initiatives and activities in the interest of co-ordinating and standardising label criteria with a view to practical implementation.
